Current Research Topics

Our works encompasse many aspects of supramolecular chemistry, particularly in applications such as the design and synthesis of molecular sensors for anions, cations, amino acids, monosaccharides, nucleotides and biogenic amines. Molecular sensors or chemosensors are molecules which are capable to recognize and to give signals for specific analytes in the real time. Signaling is given by the cooperation of the basic function of the components such as a binding site and a signaling unit. Molecular recognition is a process involved interactions between host and guest which do not define only binding event but this process requires the selectivity between the host and the guest. The molecular recognition of biological targets has formed a major part of host-guest chemistry. Moreover, the hybrid organic/inorganic based on nanomateries for sensing purposed have been a great interests in our researches.
