Student Dress Code
Wearing uniforms properly are mandatory for all undergraduate students of Chulalongkorn University. Therefore, students should be aware of the university regulations in order to avoid dress code violations.
Shirt: White with collar, bird-wing sleeves, double seam line, inverted pleat in the center back, not fitted, decorated with a silver logo and buttons embossed with “Pra-Kiew” as designed by the university. The shirt must be tucked in under the skirt.
Belt: Brown Suede belt with a square silver buckle embossed with “Pra-Kiew”.
Skirt: Black or navy blue gathered skirt and haft-shin length. Low-waist skirt is not allowed.
Socks*: White without decorative pattern.
Shoes*: White leather, heel-covered, Canvas shoes are prohibited.
*Modest shoes with neutral color are allowed for second-year students and above.
Female Shirts and Skirt
Necktie(Optional): Decorated with a logo “Pra-Kiew” as designed by the university.
Shirt: White with long or short sleeves, no decorative design, tucked in the shirt.
Belt: 3 cm wide black leather with a rectangular silver buckle embossed with a logo “Pra-Kiew” as designed by the university.
Slacks: Navy blue or black without decorative design. Low-rise and denim pants are strongly prohibited.
Socks: Navy blue or black without decorative design.
Shoes: Black leather without metallic decoration or fashionable design. Canvas shoes or sneakers are not allowed.
Dress code violations
1st violation 5 points reported to parents and academic advisor
2nd violation 10 points reported to parents and academic advisor
3rd violation 15 points reported to parents and academic advisor
4th violation 20 points 1 semester suspension
5th violation 25 points 2 semester suspension
6th violation 30 points Academic Dismissal
